NCC Manor Senior resident Kelvin Sempel, left, gets his blood pressure checked by a nursing student from Seton Hall University College of Nursing. A group of community health nursing students visited NCC senior buildings to provide blood pressure and glucose screenings to residents like Doris Okaro, center, who received a bandage after having her finger lightly pricked for the check-up. The SHU nursing students also conducted a food drive and donated several bags of food that were distributed to NCC’s Emergency Food Pantry and to the Extended Care Facility, where the students posed for the photograph at the Culinary Cafe.
