New Community was one of the organizations to participate in a recognition of World Homeless Day in Lincoln Park in Newark on Oct. 6, along with Newark Emergency Services for Families and Newark Homelessness Coalition. Staff members from Harmony House, New Community’s transitional housing facility for homeless families, were in attendance handing out items and information. New Community CEO Simone Gagneron was also in attendance.
