Residents and staff members at New Community Extended Care Facility, 266 South Orange Ave., Newark, celebrated Black History Month on Feb. 23. Residents shared information about prominent Black figures, sang songs, read poetry and talked about their life experiences. They also enjoyed a warm meal, music and dancing.
