Volunteer Sally Milad once again organized a back-to-school event at Harmony House, New Community’s transitional housing facility for homeless families. She first started the event in 2017, which brings school supplies, backpacks, hair stylists and pizza to the facility for children to enjoy. The event, which was held this year on Aug. 29, is meant to help the children look and feel their best for the start of a new school year. Photos courtesy of Sally Milad and Yonette Fredericks.
