Golfing For A Cause
New Community hosted its 23rd Annual Golf Outing June 27 at the Montclair Golf Club in West Orange.
The Montclair Golf Club takes golfing in northern New Jersey to a whole new level with 300 acres of lush rolling hills. It is considered one of the most unique courses in the nation, designed by legendary golf course architects Donald Ross and Charles Banks, according to the club’s website.
New Community’s Golf Outing, also known as “Golfing for a Cause,” brings together prominent leaders in the business, finance, construction and real estate industries for an afternoon of golf followed by networking and an evening reception featuring testimonials from individuals whose lives have been changed through the programs and resources offered at New Community.
All proceeds from the Golf Outing benefit New Community education programs, homeless families at Harmony House, a transitional facility with supportive services, and the Monsignor William J. Linder Scholarship Fund for inner city youth.
