Next Stop, College Degree: Academic Enrichment Students Tour Rutgers

First stop, diploma. Next stop, college: Students enrolled in the Academic Enrichment Program for Older Youth at the New Community Workforce Development Center recently toured Rutgers University – Newark. The Academic Enrichment program provides students with classroom learning and literacy skills that will lead to a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as vocational training and entry level job placement. Led by Instructor Odette Phillip, the students toured the campus, learned about educational opportunities and even visited the Baker Trial Courtroom at the law school.
