NCC Community Hills Early Learning Center hosted its annual Family Literacy Night to promote reading and literacy among parents and children. Family Worker Yvette Johnson coordinated the event, which transformed the activity room on the second floor of CHELC into interactives scenes from popular storybooks and featured family-friendly activities such as cooking pancakes, making insect crafts, playing with puppets and more. Each classroom donated a goodie basket that parents won as raffle prizes.
