New Community is offering free income tax preparation services to qualified individuals until April 15. The services are offered at the NCC Family Resource Success Center, 131-185 Bergen St. in Newark, through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program. Residents can make an appointment to meet with a tax preparer on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or Wednesdays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The services are available now until April 15, but don’t wait until it’s too late!
