HHELC students and staff culminated their observation of the 9/11 anniversary by marching around the block with flags, posters and signs. The focus of the day was on the heroes of 9/11, which included emergency responders who risked their lives to help rescue victims. Even the youngest HHELC students, in the Infant Classroom, dabbled in the lesson by finger painting with the patriotic colors of red and blue.
