Newark Mayor Ras Baraka visited three New Community programs, including the Workforce Development Center’s Automotive Technician Employment and Training Program at 210 West Bigelow St. Trainee Dejon Thompson, right, shakes hands with Baraka. Center Director Cheryl Mack, second from right, gave Baraka a tour of the facility. New Community CEO Richard Rohrman, far right, and Richard Cammarieri, not pictured, Director of Special Projects, accompanied the mayor on his tour around the network. Mayor Baraka’s tour made a stop at NCC Associates, where he called bingo for a group of seniors.
