And The Parade Float Winner Is…

The St. Joseph Plaza parade float, featured in NCC’s 2014 Parade and Family Festival, was deemed worthy of recognition as it boasted the theme, “Building Communities Block By Block.” The multi-colored float featured Lego blocks and represented NCC headquarters.  Complete with upbeat music and Lego characters dressed in color-coordinated costumes, the St. Joseph Plaza float displayed blocks representing various NCC services such as housing, education, healthcare and jobs. Members of the float committee that worked on the project are, from left, Eunice Lee, Leslie Andujar, Toshia LaBerth, Ray Gerena, Brenda Buesing, Anna Sing-King and Tracey Battles. Participants not pictured: Anna’s daughter Shanell Sing, Angela Stewart and Angela Williams.
