Aaron Fichtner, Deputy Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development, recently visited New Community’s Automotive Training Center to see state grant dollars at work. In April, the state Labor Department awarded the NCC Workforce Development Center a $260,000 Opportunity4Jersey grant to fund the Automotive Technician Employment and Training Program, which is backed by Ford and supported by various employers in the automotive industry.
