In addition to the regular food distribution starting the 16th of each month, New Community’s Emergency Food Pantry is receiving monthly deliveries of fresh foods, such as meat, Greek yogurt and vegetables, to distribute to those in need, courtesy of the Community FoodBank of New Jersey. The distributions will take place through October at the Health and Social Services office at 220 Bruce St. on Sept. 19 and Oct. 17, according to Tahisha Chambers, Director of the NCC Home Friends Program.
