Bryant and Wydirah Tait, right, founder of a program called Promoting Excellence in Tomorrow’s Leaders, began hosting a weekly music appreciation program at Harmony House in April. Students enjoyed snacks, sang and danced to songs that Bryant played on his two keyboards such as “Everyday People” by Sly and The Family Stone. Tait said she also promotes a wider appreciation of the arts among youth through other creative activities such as drawing.
