Visiting a doctor's office often involves a long waiting period, but participants in a recent health fair sponsored by the Visiting Nurse Association Health Group in Essex found they were able to have a blood pressure or cholesterol check completed within just a matter of minutes.  More than 700 'gently used' plastic toys destined for the garbage dump were instead delivered to children at New Community Harmony House on April 20th, a special Earth Day event sponsored by the non-profit organization, Second Chance Toys. |
