Before the dishes were even touched, the aromas wafting throughout the NCC Neighborhood Center provided visitors with a great anticipation of what was to come. New Community's 'Men Who Cook' benefit, which supported the Monsignor William J. Linder Scholarship Fund, proved to be a real delight to the culinary senses.

Young Men’s Group

Harmony House, New Community's transitional housing facility, has formed a Young Men's Group to assist its young male residents in building life skills, avoiding negative peer influences and problem-solving as a means of managing anger. The group is led by Moses James, seated at far right, who holds a master's degree in counseling psychology from Seton Hall University. James is currently pursuing his doctorate of education in counseling psychology.
