Grateful Patient Praises Staff Of NCC Extended Care

When Diane McCann suffered a stroke back in early October, she really feared the worse in terms of what the impact would be. She spent three weeks at Newark’s University Hospital before being transferred to New Community’s Extended Care Center, located at 266 South Orange Avenue. Once admitted to Extended Care, McCann said the rehabilitation staff really got to work on getting her back on her feet. She spent an hour in therapy daily and activities were not just confined to walking. read more
