Building Trades Training Program
Four modules comprise our Building Trades Training Program: basic carpentry, basic electricity, basic plumbing and an internship.
Located at the state-of-the-art New Community Workforce Development Center, the Building Trades Training Program offers both hands-on training and classroom lectures. New Community Workforce Development Center provides highly qualified staff, support services, career information and job placement.
Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
540 hours or 16 weeks
Classroom and hands-on training
* At least 18 years old
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Take a basic skills entrance exam
* Available during daytime hours

Basic Carpentry: Technical Math and Technical Reading Comprehension
Basic Plumbing: Technical Math and Technical Reading Comprehension
Basic Electrical: Technical Math and Technical Reading Comprehension
Windows and Doors: Technical Math and Technical Reading Comprehension
On-site admissions and placement office
Six high-tech computer labs
Distance learning lab
