The New Community Workforce Development Center offers highly qualified staff, educational and training courses, supportive services, career information, financial aid and job placement assistance. All Workforce Development programs provide graduates with marketable skills in fields where there is high demand and ample opportunity for professional growth.

The Workforce Development Center is committed to student success, both in the classroom and in the workplace. Its approach to education is career-focused. At the Workforce Development Center, students choose from occupational programs developed in response to labor market research. They learn in the classroom and receive hands-on training through practical experience and internships. Our teaching curriculum is delivered by skilled staff and utilizes innovative, cutting-edge industrial tools.

Intensive training courses in the following professions: Automotive, Building Trades, Culinary Arts, Health Care and Retail (ShopRite). We also offer GED prep courses and continuing education.

Entrance Requirements
* All students must be at least 18 years of age on or before the first day of class
* High school diploma or GED (General Education Development Certificate)
* All applicants must take the Test of Adult Basic Education for entrance into the program
