New Community’s Workforce Development Center offers comprehensive vocational training in several disciplines. We offer courses that prepare job seekers for careers in Automotive, Building Trades, Culinary Arts, ShopRite Partners-In-Training and Health Care professions. For older youth who want to achieve their GED, we offer the Academic Enrichment Program for Older Youth. That provides students with classroom literacy and learning skills as well as vocational training and entry level job placement.
Our mission is to improve the quality of life of all students through education and occupational training in a community that fosters life-long learning.
