visionary Newark residents in the aftermath of the 1967 summer disorders, New
Community Corporation is the nation’s largest and most comprehensive community
development corporation.</font></p>

NCC owns and manages more than 3,000 units of housing and employs 2,300 people.
The array of community-based services and programs provided by New Community
includes housing, early childhood education, transitional housing for the homeless,
job training, education, health care, community arts, youth programs and a host
of social services for children, families and senior citizens.</font></p>

<b>TOURS OF NCC</b></font></p>
<p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Groups are invited to come to Newark
to learn more about New Community by taking an NCC-sponsored tour of our facilities
and programs. Group tours can be scheduled from 10 AM-Noon, Monday through Friday.
They include an up-close look at NCC housing, job training, education programs,
