New Community’s 2016 Youth Empowerment Summit will feature an open forum with local law enforcement that focuses on the recent police shootings across the country. Students will be given the opportunity to ask questions in relation to interactions with police. Teen dating violence and choices and consequences will also be discussed at the summit.
